August's Piscean full Moon occurs on the 30th August in Australia and the 29th August in the United States. This is a variable full Moon in that it presents some big difficulties along with some wonderful opportunities for expansion, movement and love. This is an especially Neptunian Piscean full Moon as the Moon is only two degrees away from Neptune, and, the Moon will pass over Neptune (conjunct) within a few hours of the full Moon. 

Further, Jupiter is conjuncting the Sun and opposing the Moon. This can give rise to optimism and hope and the desire for travel and embracing the new. Further, we have Lilith, the Moon's north node and Mercury all together on the first three degrees of Libra, traversing the Super Galactic Center. It's high time to get your hopes and dreams and affirmations in order as we have a very strong chance of having them come true. 

We also have Venus going direct and it is conjunct Mars in mid Leo. This is wonderful - it gives a wonderful push to romance, issues to do with sex and sexuality, welling creativity and spirituality and all kinds of other good things can come of this pairing up in mid Leo. 

Saturn will soon be leaving Scorpio, which will be a relief to many Scorpios who've been getting it in droves for the last few years. Hallelujah! Still, Saturn in Sagittarius has other things it is going to show us and demand from us. Interesting times.

 The full Moon is on Pisces 7: ILLUMINATED BY A SHAFT OF LIGHT, A LARGE CROSS LIES ON ROCKS SURROUNDED BY SEA AND MIST

This shows being able to stay firm in one’s faith and belief in life even when one’s hopes and dreams take a battering. There may be feelings of chaos and misplaced loyalties in your life, like something has been sacrificed for no real cause and some things have come to nothing. You may need to see if perhaps your aim was too high and things came crashing down as a result of a lack of care, by yourself or others, or through people opposing your objectives or success. Having faith and a positive end in sight, you can experience a wonderful spiritual awakening - reconnecting with your spiritual ideals. Concentrate on the "Shaft of Light" as this can show you that white light is all around you.

The full Moon each month marks a time of heightened energies and events. It often marks the culmination of the energies released at the new Moon. Emotions can be supercharged as the Sun and Moon are on opposite sides of the zodiac and illumination is increased - it's like we can see in the dark - and we can be hyper-aware as well as being hyper-awake. The effects of a full Moon can be major or minor, depending on how they interact with your own chart. Sometimes, realisations or events that are unleashed, or unlocked, can stretch their meaning months into the future. A lot can be learned at the time of the full Moon and whether it's lunacy or illumination, or a combination of both, there's magic unleashed with every full Moon. 

 The Sun is on Virgo 7: A HAREM

This Symbol shows being in a group, or a “Harem”. A “Harem” is a symbol of women being, living and working together. Sharing with others, whether women or men, in an atmosphere of trust and belonging can bring rewards of all kinds to your life. There may be a feeling of being dominated or part of a group where you have to compete for whatever small benefits may be available. Perhaps you are not taken seriously enough. There is a need to use your charm and appealing aspects of your nature to succeed and to stand out from the crowd and claim a special place for yourself. Just ensure that you’re not losing out by feeling just one of many.

 Mercury is on Libra 3: THE DAWN OF A NEW DAY REVEALS EVERYTHING CHANGED

This Symbol pictures sudden, new beginnings happening in one’s life. Things can change so quickly that it’s hard to believe at first, but eventually it dawns on you that things are different in the light of a “New Day”. Take heart, realize that the darkness is abating, gradually let go of what went before and embrace the new opportunities that beckon. This can show someone who moves around a lot or goes through several big transformations in their lives or have to weather big changes that often come up. However, there’s a need to guard against being fickle and wanting to move on too readily when one should perhaps stay with a situation and work on it.

 Venus is on Leo 16: BRILLIANT SUNSHINE JUST AFTER A STORM

This Symbol implies situations where storms come through one’s life on a periodic basis; sweeping away elements of life that have been clogging up situations, clearing the air and resolving issues. It also shows the ability to be able to pick one’s self up after some difficulty or crisis. The trick is to notice the gift of the brilliant sunshine as the clouds part and life takes on a calmer, happier tone. The worst is probably over and situations can resolve themselves; things dry out and recovery begins. There is probably always more cleaning up and work to be done, but one should enjoy the release and pleasure of the relief that follows a storm.

Mars is on Leo 14: CHERUB-LIKE, A HUMAN SOUL WHISPERS INTO EVERY RECEPTIVE EAR, SEEKING TO MANIFEST

This Symbol implies that there will be deep realizations that may transform your life. Listening to one's inner voice and heeding its messages can lead you on to the next level of life. Spirit is descending, wishing to make it’s self known - spiritual messages are wanting to come through into conscious expression. The trick is being able to hear what’s being whispered and translating it into useful information as one can be mislead by ‘voices in their head’ which can be confusing rather than enlightening. The thing is to discern what is useful and what is not.

You may find people from different or seemingly disparate or separate areas coming into your life, making it richer, more rewarding and interesting. Prejudice of any kind, whether religious or race based, economic or class systems, is an illusion based on social perception and excludes people that could add to our lives. Social perceptions can color how we see others and these need to be put aside. Rather, it's about embracing brotherhood and caring. The integration, acceptance and enjoyment of all people brings depth and meaning to life.

 Saturn is on Scorpio 29: AN INDIAN WOMAN PLEADING TO THE CHIEF FOR THE LIVES OF HER CHILDREN

This Symbol implies the need, or the ability, to be an advocate for the rights of others, particularly youngsters or children, and being prepared to engage with others in order to bring about a desired result. You may find yourself standing-up for those in your care, or for those who need your care, whether it is your children, your ideals or creative pursuits. Even if they sometimes deserve rejection, punishment or judgment, the solution will possibly be found not in being defensive as in simply asking for consideration, mercy and leniency.  Uranus is on Aries 21: A BOXER IS ENTERING THE RING

This Symbol shows that there may be a temptation to take on issues, even to fight, but it needs to be with dignity and regulation. You may feel a need, or the urge, to step up to the plate and take something or someone on. There are rules to follow and often others will be end up being the judge of the final outcome. Make sure you possess the skills and training to defend what you believe. Remember that sometimes you need to back off if you're not winning a contest. Question: is someone on the attack or the defense?

Uranus symbolizes: The unexpected, things that are individual or 'different'. Charged, energetic dynamics, electricity, light, lightning bolts, sudden changes, those who live on the fringe of society. Sudden turns and twists of fate. Rebellion, surprises, liberation, freedom.

 Neptune is on Pisces 9: THE RACE BEGINS: INTENT ON OUTDISTANCING HIS RIVALS, A JOCKEY SPURS HIS HORSE TO GREAT SPEED

This shows spurring to action when you need to, to rise to occasions that call for a sense of urgency or speed. Perhaps it's time to extract all the energy possible into situations. The “Race” is on, and you may feel that you can make it to the finish, but still are not guaranteed of victory. What efforts do you expend to push you faster and further than the rest of the field? Ensure that you're not expending all your energy too quickly and not really achieving anything of lasting value. Be wary of bolting out of the gate without knowing what your objective is. Needing to win at all costs can have others feeling like you’re not really ‘in the race’ – just wanting to win.

 Pluto is on Capricorn 14: AN ANCIENT BAS-RELIEF CARVED IN GRANITE REMAINS A WITNESS TO A LONG-FORGOTTEN CULTURE

This Symbol shows learning from the past, seeing the beauty and meaning inherent in ancient civilizations, their monuments and cultures. Some things never fade; they stand as reminders of ancient eras, bringing messages to us. Information and revelations may be found in these reminders (the “Remains”) about the stability and longevity of the foundation of your society, or possibly some other society, distant in time or space. You’ll find satisfaction in things that are not so much superficial display, but those things that represent the longevity and stability of the foundation or backdrop of your society. The trick is not to get stuck in the past or become unchangeable or unbendable.

Chiron is on Pisces 20: A TABLE SET FOR AN EVENING MEAL

This shows providing sustenance for yourself and others; to “Set” the “Table” and have nourishment available for those who need it. It can show knowledge of nutrition, cooking, catering all the way to knowing how to make money – how to ‘bring home the bacon’. There’s a need to prepare things, to appreciate, assimilate, be nourished by and enjoy. When everything is in place, you’ll want to have people around you to appreciate it. Patience is sometimes needed; having worked hard and long, you need to realize that your needs will be met. Returning home you can find comfort and sustenance. Attend to everyday tasks with reverence. Try to remember to say grace in thanks.

Chiron symbolizes: Our wounds and it is known as The Wounded Healer, it also shows The Stories That We Tell Ourselves, it is where we have to focus on healing, it can show things that are out of shape or misplaced or in need of repair.

 North Node is on Libra 2: THE LIGHT OF THE SIXTH RACE TRANSMUTED TO THE SEVENTH

This wonderful Symbol shows a time of new beginnings with an implementation of a brand new order. Often, this shows people being interested in attaining spiritual transformation and attainment. As you change and grow there’s a need to respect the value of what is waning, and to take the best qualities with you into your future. This often shows being within reach of your ultimate potential. Some aspects of society are left behind for a higher, more evolved state. Ascension to a higher order is pictured, but there is a need to remain rooted in the reality of practicality, lest one loses one's way.

The Caution: Losing touch with practical survival. Can be racial (or other) discrimination. Feeling that one is from a "higher" order (or more evolved) than other people. Leaving others behind.

The Moon's North Node symbolizes: This is quite a 'karmic point' (although all planets and points in a chart can be'karmic'). One's destiny in this life. The things you are meant to integrate, move towards, become. Destined relationships and relationship issues can show up here.

 The Moon's South Node is on Aries 2: A COMEDIAN ENTERTAINING A GROUP OF FRIENDS

This Symbol shows that an objective awareness of oneself and others can bring light relief to you and those around you. We often need to be reminded that we are essentially human and share the same imperfections, frailties and shortcomings as the next person. See the humor and joy in situations - positive reactions can be an escape route from difficulties through seeing the funny side. Group cohesion and joy can come through sharing fun and being able to laugh and joke is an important part of life.

The Moon's South Node symbolizes: Past karmic patterns to be overcome, can be habits that are good, but can describe things, relationships, issues that you need to let go of, or, hold you back from manifesting your true destiny. Relationships that feel karmic and difficult, memories from the past.
