Messages & Channelings

This morning, I sat on my deck in the sun, thinking about the day and what I would write in this week's newsletter. After enjoying a period of silence, I picked up one of the "daily inspiration" books that I often read to start the day off on the right foot. I closed my eyes, picked a page at random and instantly knew I was meant to share the passage with you.

"The person who gets the farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from shore." -- Dale Carnegie

"Stop rushing through life. Live it instead."

This week I had intended to send a rebroadcast of a past newsletter while I enjoyed some time off, but after experiencing a frightening incident last week during dinner, I changed my plans. I learned something very important that I'd like to share with you.

Yesterday I participated in a fundraising golf tournament with my mom and dad, some of my brothers and sisters, and my husband, Michael. It was a beautiful, late summer day with bright sunshine, a gentle breeze, and plenty of excited players. Although I'm not a golfer, I too, was excited to spend the day outside in nature with my family. That said, I wasn't excited to golf.
