Eckhart Tolle > The Joy of Being

Ask yourself: Is there joy, ease, and lightness in what I am doing? If there isn’t, then time is covering up the present moment, and life is perceived as a burden or a struggle.

Eckhart Tolle > Spiritual Bypassing or Avoidance

Awareness or presence is never avoidance. In awareness, you allow yourself to feel whatever it is that you feel; you do not repress it in any way. Do you sense unresolved pain within? How are you going to resolve the pain except by allowing yourself to feel it?

Eckhart Tolle > The Inner Body

You said that identification with our physical form is part of the illusion, so how can the body, the physical form, bring you to a realization of Being?

Eckhart Tolle > Eckhart on Personal Love

Eckhart Tolle answers the question: If we’re all one, why do we feel drawn toward certain individuals in an expression of “personal love”?

We sat down for a chat with Eckhart one afternoon and asked him some questions.  In this issue, Eckhart reveals his thoughts on our relationship with between our ego and personality. Question: What is our relationship with our personality after awakening & does it change?

Eckhart Tolle > Doing, Being, and Forgiveness

Do what you have to do. In the meantime, accept what is. Since mind and resistance are synonymous, acceptance immediately frees you from mind dominance and thus reconnects you with Being.

Eckhart Tolle > Ordinary Unconsciousness And Deep Unconsciousness

As you probably know, in sleep you constantly move between the phases of dreamless sleep and the dream state. Similarly, in wakefulness most people only shift between ordinary unconsciousness and deep unconsciousness.

Eckhart Tolle > Consciousness and the Unmanifested

When you dissolve psychological time through intense present-moment awareness, you become conscious of the Unmanifested both directly and indirectly. Directly, you feel it as the radiance and power of your conscious presence — no content, just presence.

We sat down for a chat with Eckhart one afternoon and asked him this question: How do you know whether a feeling you have is coming from your Ego, or from a deeper source?

Question: I have been told that I am a judgmental person and I agree with that. Since becoming aware I have been working on that and my ego everyday. What are your thoughts on being judgmental and is it really possible to not judge anyone or any decision ever? Thank you.
