One of my favorite songs by the Canadian artist Jane Siberry is called ‘Love is Everything’. During the 15 years I have known the song, I have found it both melodically and tonally beautiful as well as healing. Plus, I always loved the title. Recently however, I paid more attention to the lyrics and realized that she is singing about leaving a relationship where she no longer feels the love between the two people sharing their journey.
The world is dividing into two camps - those under the wave of change and those riding it. This month will see you falling very strongly into one or the other, and this will be a relief for you whichever side you land on.
Many of you will have noticed these past few years have been ones of clearing the way, with periods of forward movement then periods of integration - integration that sometimes felt like regression. The 'old' mind (which sees the world based on how things were 5-10 years ago) often tells you this process is chaotic or that something is going wrong.
The energies on earth continue to ramp up. This brings in more and more awakening energy to people's lives, feelings and perceptions. More people are beginning to open their hearts, their feelings, and see the importance of love. More people are opening to the truth of life through their feelings, and letting go of old anchors in their hearts or minds.
Life is a continual process of letting go. This is one of the great truths of human life. You love, you let go. You win, you let go. You're heartbroken, you let go. You create, you let go. Change is the only constant in the ride called life, and this is a time of massive physical and emotional transformation on Earth.
It’s beautiful out here today. It’s warm. It’s sunny. And yet, the strongest energy I feel to start this forecast with is to address grief. Because this is an energy that is coming up collectively for everybody, and I‘ve noticed this is very much at the forefront of people’s issues right now.
A few days ago, I was on the island of Jersey between the north coast of France and the south coast of England. I was there to perform my new music single at a benefit concert for Haiti. The event had been 5 weeks in the planning, and yet one week before the concert, we saw the flash floods in Madeira occur and then the very day before the concert, we learnt about the Chilean Earthquake.
How have you sustained yourself this past 4 days? The surge of energies and emotions that erupted since the Earthquake in Japan has created a major dislodge in the world energetically that is still trying to settle in and for people. Devastation and loss occurred in a major way and physically, the Earth has now changed and the shockwaves are still being felt.
There is no more 'trying' needed in you or in our world. In terms of the changes we are in, we have now reached the 'simply surrender' point of 2011. Surrendering to 'what is' can be an almighty challenge if what is happening in and around you does not feel or seem good.
