December's new Moon falls right on Christmas, on the evening of 24th December in the United States and on the 25th December in Australia. The Sabian Symbol is a fabulous one and it's wonderful that Elsie Wheeler, the amazing spiritualist medium that gave birth to the Sabian Symbols in 1925, (remembering that she assigned the Sabian Symbols to degrees in a completely double blind 'experiment') gave the Symbol of Capricorn 3: The Human Soul, In Its Eagerness For New Experiences, Seeks Embodiment to the degree that most often falls on Christmas Day.

September's new Moon is a promising one of change, resurrection, hope, love and new beginnings. Falling a day after the spring/autumn equinox, we have an extraordinary line-up of Symbols on this new Moon

This coming full Moon is a total lunar eclipse. It's one of a tetrad (four) of lunar eclipses, starting with the total lunar eclipse on April 15 of this year.

A lot can be learned at the time of the full Moon and whether it's lunacy or illumination, or a combination of both, there's magic unleashed with every full Moon.

June's full Moon in Sagittarius is an interesting one, and one that could be rather difficult to navigate. The few weeks leading up to it have been fairly gnarly and stressful for many and we are being tested along the path it seems, with some people being tested rather severely.

The Taurus new Moon is a very interesting new Moon, and, it's likely to be a very powerful one. For a start, there is so much earth energy in amongst it all, and, Pluto is almost exactly in a powerful trine aspect with it (= in a trine aspect with the Sun and the Moon).

I am a little later than usual with this new Moon posting. Please do remember that the effects of the new Moon last into the future - it's not all over with a bang the minute the new Moon (or the full Moon for that matter) occurs.

September's new Moon occurs on September 13. It is a partial solar eclipse and it is quite a powerful lunation.

Lynda Hill > June's New Moon In Cancer

June's new Moon in Cancer falls on the 23rd in the US and the 24th in Australia. Occurring just after the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere and the Winter Solstice in the southern, it brings with it a time some changes.

If you read through the following Sabian Symbol interpretations, no doubt you will see these themes for this Venus/Mars conjunctio.
