Lynda Hill > September's Virgo New Moon

September's new Moon falls on September 20, and, it's an interesting one. This is quite a Chironic new Moon, with Chiron (The Stories We Tell Ourselves) smack opposite it.

August's Piscean full Moon is a variable full Moon in that it presents some big difficulties along with some wonderful opportunities for expansion, movement and love.

The full Moon falls on Wednesday March 27. It's a very powerful full Moon and there's bound to be some shifts on many levels and in many ways. The Sabian Symbol is Libra 7: A Woman Feeding Chickens And Protecting Them From The Hawks.

December's new Moon in Sagittarius falls on December 18, and, it feels like a very special sign of the times as Saturn moves out of Sagittarius and heads into Capricorn, the new Moon occurs right before the Winter Solstice.

November's Taurus full Moon occurs on November 4, and, it's a rather Jupiterian lunation. Jupiter, the planet of good luck, abundance and expansion, is conjunct the Sun and opposite the Moon, bringing with it a sense of optimism in amongst some of the more challenging energies that are around at this time.

It is a rather intense, meaningful and rather Saturnian full Moon as Saturn sits right between the Sun and Mercury and opposes the full Moon.

Occurring on December 29, this Capricorn new Moon (6:52 am GMT) is seeing out the last of 2016, and, now we head into 2017.

I find it rather amusing that the last new Moon was Aquarius 3: The Deserter From The Navy and this full Moon is Leo 19: A Houseboat Party. February's full Moon occurs on the 7th in the US and the 8th in Australia and the Sabian Symbol is Leo 19: A Houseboat Party Crowded With Revelers; The Water Reflects Its Lights.

Lynda Hill > October's Libra New Moon

October's new Moon occurs on October 19 in the US and October 20 in Australia in Libra. This is yet another powerful lunation, and, it's one with some very strong messages.

Occurring on October 23 in Australia and October 22 in the United States, October's full Moon is the second full Moon in a row in Aries. Last month's full Moon was on the first degree of Aries - this month's full Moon is on the last degree of Aries. The Sabian Symbol for this full Moon is Aries 30: A Duck Pond And Its Brood.
