You will sometimes meet someone you believe is a soul mate; you feel the connection on many levels, perhaps instantly. And as you get to know each other more, you begin to feel the connection deepen and you feel that you must have an arrangement with this person that predated this lifetime.
Do not assume, however, that this soul connection necessarily means that you are meant to be happily together for this lifetime. It may be that you are meant to be friends and allies, helping each other out. It may be that you are going to help each other in ways that even involve conflict and separation, but with an end result that is beneficial to you. It may be that you are going to learn some lesson from each other and then go your separate ways.
Seek the silence. Every day, in your own way, minute by minute, seek the silence.
There is a silence that underlies the noise of your world. There is a silence in the air under the wing of each bird, a silence under each leaf on the tree, a silence that nestles deeply in the heart of each flower.
You are an artist, a
creator. Your mind is the brush and your life is the canvas. And all of the
glorious colors of the universe are available to you. You experience the world,
pick up the colors, patterns and textures and store them in your emotional
center, there for your mind to dip into and paint each of your days.
There is a hunger, a longing, deep within your heart. And it has been there from the moment you were born. It is not this foolish longing for romance or money. It is not this hunger for success and recognition. It is not even a desire to be surrounded by beauty.
This morning we have a message from a power animal that I know well. I first met him years ago when I was doing power animal retrievals, then again more recently in my Power Animal Adventures. He is an enormous sperm whale known as The Ancient One; it is always so wonderful to hear from him. And is now our way, Quado has added a few words at the end of his message.
The perfection of all things lies not in your judgment of what should be; it lies in your acceptance of what is. And by acceptance, we do not mean apathy and resignation; we mean an active involvement in what is, a joining in, but yet within the guidelines of what truly is.
Your goal is not hope, not a denial of things as they are and a wishing for things to be other. Acceptance is an objective state, a deep and complete understanding that this is the way this moment is, this is how things are, but without judgment that they should have been otherwise.
Now is. You are. All is as it is. And that is the beginning and end to truth.
Life is not about what might be in the next moment; it is about what is right now. And now is the only truth, the only place of action, the only place you ever truly are. And it has a contour, it has its ways. It is as it is and no other.
