As the Sun and the Moon prepare for a beautiful celestial dance, each of us can expect to feel the beginning of some powerful and profound shifts within. This process has already begun in earnest as we can feel buoyant and full of optimism one moment, but lost and despondent the next. Some may call this ascension syndrome, others call it evolution; either way, we can each expect to feel euphoric, empty, blissful, hollow and peaceful all at the same time.
There is a strange and somewhat mysterious energy all around us at the moment, even the light during the day has changed, and the dark during the night seems altered. Everyone seems affected by this energy; even those not usually open to spiritual or ‘higher’ energies. There is a bubbling undercurrent of anticipation and expectation, but nothing is bursting forth with a notice to say ‘here’s the answer, here’s the solution’. No faeries or light beings are popping up with words of wisdom or guidance.
As the cycle of life continues to twist and turn, many of us have become so wrapped up in keeping on keeping on that we forget to pause every so often to remember that we are vibrant beings living on a vibrant, spinning planet.
As we continue to excavate and dig deeply within, it seems that many of us have found ourselves in unfamiliar territory as we have opened up our minds, bodies and souls to the Truth of the closets, the nooks and the crannies within.
Does a flower change the colour of its petals because it feels self-conscious or different? Unlikely. Does a tree ever wonder if being an oak tree would be nicer than being an apple tree? Probably not.
What about a bit of silence this month? Silence is the space where true wisdom can be found, it’s the willingness to be still, fully present and without distraction. We will all benefit from silent pauses this month.
