I’m not sure if it’s just me, but there are days at the moment that seem to be moving in slow motion, and there are other days which are most definitely on fast forward.
As the great big washing machine of life continues to spin, rinse, hum, whir and jiggy across the floor, there is a great deal of bewilderment, bemusement, perplexity and disorientation as we each try to make sense of the shifts and find a moment to take a breath.

Like the sap rising in the trees, and the daffodils turning their heads to the lengthening days of sunshine, there’s a growing sense of shift emerging from deep within our hearts and souls.
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but 2017 has started on quite a surreal and almost dreamlike note, as though I’m here but not really here at the same time.
Being human is a complex, complicated and confusing existence. We are not like washing machines or flat-packed furniture as we don’t come with an instruction booklet.
2017 will involve change but that’s inevitable, not news! It’s how we face the change that truly matters and we now owe it to ourselves and one another to become more conscious of the bigger picture.
No one ever said life was easy, but it doesn’t have to be over-complicated either as we can choose to stop chasing horizons and instead feel the power of present moment consciousness and allow this to shape and define the stories of our lives…
It will take a while to digest and process some of the experiences of the last year but there is a strong sense that ‘everything happens for a reason’ and, whilst we may never truly understand the reasons, we enter 2017 with more hope and strength than ever before.
