Yesterday I spoke about the coming shift in energy and today the shift begins, with a Grand Trine in Water forming, the Moon now in Pisces conjunct Neptune, and Mercury moving into Cancer.

As we begin the new month, the Sun and Pluto remind us that life takes place at two levels: the surface, ‘everyday’ level consisting of routines and responsibilities, and the less acknowledged energetic level.

Today a Moon/Saturn conjunction in Scorpio could leave us feeling somewhat burdened, even overwhelmed. This is not the overwhelm of too much to do and not enough time, more like too much to fear and not enough faith.

The passage of the Goddess of Wisdom through the sign of words, connection and communication provides us a wonderful opportunity to share our own perspective of the world with others and allow them to do the same with us.

Throughout the course of this eclipse season (18th April to 26th May) the asteroid Pallas Athene (the Goddess of Wisdom and Warrior Queen) has been on my mind. She showed up at the lunar eclipse in April conjunct Venus, was then conjunct the Moon at the solar eclipse on 10th May, and now she’s conjunct Mars at this final lunar eclipse.

Today we have a choice, between forging the same old mental paths in our head, ‘doing’ life according to our habitual patterns of thought and feeling, or adopting a fresh stance and trying out a new approach.

In the wake of the Lunar Eclipse and Super Moon the heavens urge us to avoid polarisation and find a point of balance both within ourselves and between ourselves and other people.

I had to smile when I looked at the charts for today. They immediately brought to mind a bee flying from one flower to the next, gathering nectar and pollen as it goes.

This week we find ourselves with the eclipse season behind us. A sigh of relief may be in order, or a prayer of thanks for the opportunities and progress it brought our way, or a bit of both!
