This full moon conjunct Neptune and Black Moon Lilith invites us into deep contemplation of who we are aside from the details of our lives. Because an unnerving dissolution of self may occur when we surrender those things that define us, it’s an act of spiritual courage to embrace...
We may find ourselves itching to get on with things today, but if asked what those things are we could have trouble identifying them! This is a sure sign that it’s not quite time to act yet, no matter how urgent our feelings may be.
Today the Moon enters Capricorn (12:22 pm GMT) to bring the month to a close. Traditionally speaking the Moon is uncomfortable in Capricorn. This earthy, pragmatic sign is not a good match for the impressionable sensitivity of the Moon and she can feel suppressed and inhibited there.
In the final week of April 2019, first Pluto and then Saturn turned retrograde in Capricorn. Doing so at this point dictates that when they finally form their conjunction in January 2020 it happens only once rather than several times across the course of a few months.
April 2017 sees an increase in retrograde activity, with roughly half of the month (9th – 15th April & 20th April – 3rd May) featuring four retrogrades. This is something we’ve not seen since September 2016 and is a celestial pattern which invites us to retreat, revisit and reflect.
This super new moon in the 7th degree of Virgo – conjunct Venus, Mars & Mercury – is a cleansing moon. Virgo is a deeply healing sign imbued with ancient knowledge often lost to us in favour of modern reductionist approaches to health.
This Full Moon in Aquarius is poised to blow some old beliefs out of the water. With its ruler, Uranus, having turned retrograde on 11th August and now squaring Mercury, it illuminates how our mind works and the power it holds.
As we approach the month end feelings may be running high and tensions sharpening the air around us. For the coming few days Uranus is especially under pressure from Mars and Pluto forming a T Square, and Venus and the North Node forming a Yod.
Although this has been a challenging week for many people, the heavens speak today of an opportunity to stand back and take stock. They point to the value of giving ourselves and each other space to process all that has occurred in recent days.
