A common criticism of astrology is that it implies a lack of free will. People mistakenly believe, and even behave as if, the heavens are dictating the twists and turns of our lives, and that we’re somehow helpless pawns in a cosmic game.
This week the asteroid Juno conjuncts Neptune, forming a Grand Trine in Water with the North Node and Black Moon Lilith. Here we see reflected the fragility and transience of human life contrasted with the enduring quality of the Divine.
Saturn is now preparing to end its retrograde journey through Scorpio in a week’s time. When it turned retrograde in the middle of February I wrote about the unearthing of secrets and Saturn’s demand that we live our lives with integrity, deceiving neither others nor ourselves.
We are currently in a time of questions with many seeking answers to the weightiest ones of all: Why are we here? What’s the meaning of life? Why have past efforts not delivered the results I expected? How do I get what I want?!! And, of course, the ultimate question uttered by people throughout the ages: why me?!
Today the Sun begins to form a T Square with Uranus and Pluto, which remains with us until 8thOctober. Here we see an enormous amount of energy with great potential for getting things done, tackling tasks and challenges ordinarily beyond our capabilities and undergoing internal processes the likes of which we rarely encounter.

This total lunar eclipse occurs in the 26th degree of Libra at 7:47 a.m. GMT. The Sabian Symbol for this degree is an eagle and a white dove turning one into the other. We see here a theme of shape-shifting, reflected also in the darkness cast by a total eclipse at a time when the Moon is at her brightest.
As the point of opportunity at which we can experience all that we are in our authentic entirety, the Black Sun demands that we embrace both that with which we choose to identify and that which we would prefer to ignore!
Just a heads up: Uranus stationed retrograde in the past few hours. It’s gotten a bit lost in the jubilation over Saturn stationing direct the day before, but it’s extremely important and we need to take note!!
Today a Moon/Saturn conjunction in Scorpio could leave us feeling somewhat burdened, even overwhelmed. This is not the overwhelm of too much to do and not enough time, more like too much to fear and not enough faith.
