Note: Although much of this analysis might appear to be more Western world related, it all trickles into other cultures. The Western world has tremendous influence on the rest of the world, from extreme subtlety to the extremely obvious. Please note that when I decided to write this article I had no knowledge that this was the month for breast cancer awareness. Food for thought!
This is a question that is well worth examining from many different angles. Who is in charge of the humans, do humans need handlers/controllers? Uncovering the history and potential direction of human life is one filled with confusion, deception, limitation and manipulation due to loss of memory. Humans are buried in a thought process of limitation regarding human potentials and the nature of our origin.
We struggle with the paradox of life. Everything is real yet it isn’t. All of our problems and our dilemmas take over our emotions crystalizing both the story and the experience. It is necessary to take a moment to sit with this realization that “I am greater than my story”.
Life happens intentionally despite appearances. There is nothing random about each moment, each experience and each expression; life results from a series of events, a chain reaction of outcomes; a reaction.
There are those moments that many of us have faced when everything seems to freeze and nothing seems to be working. This is where we can easily become desperate.
Life as a human being is an insatiable experience despite it being an emotional wild ride. To say the least, it is profound, mysterious, exhilarating and maddening all at once! Being alive is addicting, we want more despite the ups and downs.
