19th June 2013: Moon in Scorpio

Tending Our Cosmic Garden

The Moon has now entered Scorpio where she’ll remain for a couple of days. In doing so she joins a Grand Trine formed by Saturn, Neptune and the current Sun/Jupiter conjunction in Gemini. This holds particular significance for us because it hails the final few days of energetic shift into the water element. Come 26th June, when Jupiter enters Cancer, the shift will be complete, signalling the start of two months during which we have an opportunity to discover aspects of our being that have heretofore been unavailable to us. Many people speak in terms of ascension, or the shift from one dimension to another these days. They’re not words I use very often, but this evident change in energetic frequency very much reflects the process to which these words point.

Something within us is waking up. We all know that, but right now the cosmos reminds us to stay alert to the awakening, because as assured as it is, it is also in our hands. Yet another paradox in this vastly complex and yet so very simple existence of ours! We’re on notice now, that complacency is not an option, giving up is not allowed and losing faith will not be tolerated!! We’re actually having our knuckles rapped, but in the nicest possible way!

There have been many struggles for people so far this year, and it sometimes seems there’s an increasing chasm between those whose lives are mysteriously slotting into place with all the pieces finally forming a thing of beauty, and those whose lives are inexorably crumbling into dust before their very eyes. Whichever of these groups we fall into, or perhaps another entirely (‘nothing’s changed at all, what on earth are you talking about?’), we are reminded not to allow our experience to limit our perspective and the possibilities inherent in this time of rapid shift and change. Whilst we each form a part in this evolution of consciousness occurring on our planet (and throughout the universe), we must each play that part in our own unique way and judging the paths of others against the standards of our own – or vice versa – will lead us astray when we most need to remain focused and committed.

This entry of the Moon into Scorpio helps us get in touch with what our path actually is in all its uniqueness, to ensure we’re not hankering after someone else’s. It reveals to us the personal nature of this sacred evolution alongside the collective process that’s taking place. We each have our corner of the cosmic garden to tend. There’s no point coveting someone else’s flowering garden in full bloom because ours is currently in winter mode. We’ll get there when the time is right, but we need to ensure we’re putting in the appropriate work at the right time, not giving up and giving in because everything’s in hibernation! Likewise, if our garden’s full of trees laden with fruit ready for picking, we should celebrate and give thanks for sure, whilst also remembering there’s still work to do, because if left on the tree the fruit will rot and its promises left unfulfilled.

This is a gently firm Moon. She wants us to understand clearly that where we are is where we are. It’s that simple! And wherever that is we still need to be tending the ground to ensure further harvests when the time is right. No complacency, no giving up, no comparisons please. Just looking around and seeing what needs to be done today to cultivate our little corner of this cosmic garden, which is growing exactly as it should but will always need our help to do so.

Happy gardening everyone!

Hi Sarah,
I love your down to earth approach : )

I'm still working to resolve this. I've got a colleague to pushes deep buttons at every opportunity giving me the chance to resolve all sorts of stuff. It's tempting to blame, wanting this colleague to change or at least understand my point of view, plenty of yes, buts ... going on in my head. I'm keeping the angels busy helping me to resolve this.... I'm leaving this job soon, so hopefully I've resolved the bulk of the stuff. Would love my next job to be a more fulfilling and enjoyable job. Love & Light xx

"We’re on notice now, that complacency is not an option, giving up is not allowed and losing faith will not be tolerated!! We’re actually having our knuckles rapped, but in the nicest possible way!"

Thanks for the laugh, Sarah. I'm certainly having my knuckles rapped and, you're right, in very loving ways.

In very literal terms, at the best times for me to work in my garden (early and late in the day), it is beset with mosquitoes and deer flies looking for tender ankle and elbow flesh to feed on. They'll happily eat anywhere. But the garden wants me to tend it. And I want to.

A note on your response yesterday to my comments on hope: you're exactly right that hope can lighten the present moment thereby increasing our mindfulness of it. You've got such good ideas!

Thankyou Sarah,,,your perspectives are always a great help,,

Today calls for heavy manure,,let the honey wagons roll.
To create rich vibrant soils,,,mmmm smells like(victory) life,,haha
I also use the word ascension with care,,buzz buzz,,i prefer the descension, if you catch my drift on down.
Although i feel like a punching bag at the gym lately and the floor of a taxi cab,,or maybe a vampire on a daypass,,
the lilacs are in bloom,,,and i love my little garden.
Even if it has only one dandelion blooming,,haha..

Much Love

"mysteriously slotting into place"---wow, does that resonate with me. Thank you Sarah for again hitting the nail on the head. A huge piece fell into place for me this a.m. and I'm trying to be mindful that I have all of the tools to deal with this. There are some "big" undercover things being exposed and staying actively in the Light is paramount. Obviously calling upon Chiron worked. To everyone who posted yesterday--thank you for creating a safe place tobe, one filled with lots of love. In LoveLight, Sandra :smitten:

I always love reading the messages as well as the comments. So lovely! Ty, Sarah, for this loving message. All too often I find myself comparing myself w/others, which truly does take my time & energy away from realizing that I am unique & came here to bring unique gifts that will add to the 'cosmic garden.' Ty so much for this uplifting reminder to stay focused on my own task at hand & how important this is, especially in these times.
Angelika, what immediately came to mind when reading your comment was a poem my daughter pinned on pinterest recently (loved it so much I repinned it). Yes, I do believe people are put in our path to teach us lessons; but, I also believe these 'lessons' can be done with such unconditional love - no jabs, cheap shots, pride, ego, machoism, etc., but instead 'we're in this together & I'm going to love you through your stuff b/c I beg you to help love me through my own' kind of thing. I know you weren't referring to an intimate relationship, but that just really spoke to me. I do hope you enjoy your next journey more!
Love to you all! :smitten:

I was going to plant more flowers in the garden today but the lake was calling me (it's a haunting sound that I can't resist).

So I took a long hike along the water's edge and soaked up the sunshine. I blossomed out there in my kinderGARDEN where my inner child loves to play. This garden bears a different kind of fruit but it's all very delicious just the same.

Speaking of food, I hope you guys set the dinner table cause I'm famished.

Dinner's served. Mic's lilacs and dandelion as centerpiece if they're willing.

Have I had my share of colleagues like that lol! Which is probably why I'm self-employed now :) The old saying goes that you can't choose your family, but most of the time you can't choose your colleagues either and you often spend more time with them than you do your kith and kin. It can be a real challenge I know. But I love that you recognise the opportunity in it, even in amongst all the frustrations. And rumour has it that the angles do love to be kept busy! Good luck with your new job Angelika. I, too, hope that it fulfills and blesses you xx

We are having the exact same problem here... being eaten alive when we want to be tending the vegetables... a massive test of patience (and of compassion, for these little critters! :) ). It's an interesting metaphor indeed and I hadn't thought of it until you pointed it out. Gives me another perspective on it. Thank you. There are messages everywhere :)

Hello Mik :) Lilacs and dandelions are a wonderful mix. Who could ask for more?! :) lol at 'descension'. Now that's really got my mind buzzing. It says so much to me about what's really going on here. Thank you Mik for planting a very interesting seed in my mind... though something tells me it's going to distract me during my Welsh class this morning :2funny Love to you xx

It certainly sounds like it Sandra! and it will continue to work as you navigate your way through this situation. Undercover things are often exposed around the time of a significant retrograde station like we just had with Chiron. This has just happened in my life too. The good news is it heralds the start of a healing process that is going to be BIG. So here's to both of us!! lol. Bring it on :)

You're welcome Betsy! I needed to be reminded of this too lol. It's good to know I'm not alone. Love to you :smitten:
