Depending on whom we are with, what we do or the circumstance we are in, we ignite different lights – so different sides of ourselves are seen.

Sad loss this week of David Bowie, yet right up to the end of his life he was creating. I almost wonder if he held on for the release of his album, which came out last week. Many of the tributes are talking about how he influenced people.

I love New Year's eve, because I enjoy hitting that point in the year that gives me an excuses to indulge in personal reflection. I don't know about you, but I like to look at my life, what I love and what I'd like to change.

Has anyone ever confessed to you that they have a ‘dark passenger’? I’m asking as it’s something that isn’t talked about openly. Everyone who has confessed this to may have never told anyone else. They think they are the only one that holds this dark secret.

Do you hear people talking about being the authentic you, and then you think, I would… if I knew who the real me is! 

No matter how unconfident you feel about your own abilities, when you tune into what is needed in a given situation, you can elevate yourself above your fears. 

My definition of freedom is to live without fear. Most of the fear we have is created by the thoughts in our mind.

So what is a perception block? You might call it a ‘glass is half empty’ view point, rather than seeing the glass as being half full.

Real, raw, naked, vulnerable, powerful, integral, game changing honesty is never natural. It’s not something that flows off the tongue in a ‘that’s the way I feel deal with it’ way.

Our happiness is often created by what we make events mean. I positive person can turn even a difficult event into something to be thankful for and a negative person will put a negative spin even on good events.
