Lynda Hill > September's Virgo New Moon

September's new Moon falls on September 20, and, it's an interesting one. This is quite a Chironic new Moon, with Chiron (The Stories We Tell Ourselves) smack opposite it.

A lot can be learned at the time of the full Moon and whether it's lunacy or illumination, or a combination of both, there's magic unleashed with every full Moon.

This is a very testing new Moon. Of course, there will be many breakthroughs and rewards and wonderful things. However, the energies are likely to be pushing some people to the limit and it may be time for some to declare that enough is enough.

Occurring on January 9, the Cancer full Moon is an interesting one and one that brings up issues of relating and relationships. The Sabian Symbol is Cancer 19: A Fragile Miss, Representative Of Proud Old Blood, Is Wed In A Marriage Ceremony By A Priest To An Eager Youth Of The New Order, or more simply, A Priest Performing a Marriage Ceremony.

December's Gemini full Moon falls on Saturday, December 6. After so many very stressful lunations (new and full Moons), this full Moon seems to hold a better charge around it.

May's Scorpio full Moon falls in the evening of May 3 in the US and the middle of the day on May 4 in Australia. The major aspect of this full Moon is the square from the Sun and Moon to Jupiter at Leo 14.

August's Piscean full Moon is a variable full Moon in that it presents some big difficulties along with some wonderful opportunities for expansion, movement and love.

February's new Moon is a partial solar eclipse. Occurring on February 15, it will not be visible to most of the planet. It will be visible in southern South America, including many locations in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay, and in Antarctica.

The full Moon falls on Wednesday March 27. It's a very powerful full Moon and there's bound to be some shifts on many levels and in many ways. The Sabian Symbol is Libra 7: A Woman Feeding Chickens And Protecting Them From The Hawks.

This Aquarian full Moon occurs on July 31. This is a rather remarkable full Moon as it is smack on when Venus goes retrograde for 40 days (and 40 nights).
