Spring Retrograde Season – Life During Renovation

Hello friends. I didn’t even know where to start with this one at first, as there’s been so much going on. Mars and Pluto Retrogrades generally take no prisoners, and this time around that’s definitely true. This is partly due also to the energy of the “9” year; where many things are ending and coming to either a natural or even a more forced type of closure, at least it may feel that way.

Dear ones, there is a certain expectation to get along with family members and others close in your world. This is understandable, but it is in no way guaranteed. There are some despite your best efforts that will be impacted negatively by you. You become a trigger perhaps to their karmic past, which may or may not have included you. So what do you do? You love. You remove yourself from toxic people, places or things. You do your best. As we have shared with you previously we have great respect for all who are embodied at this time, whatever their individual circumstances. This year for many has been painful and for some filled with losses of diverse kinds. There is a letting go that has not existed – not at this level anyway. Your spiritual family supports you in all ways, especially in ways that physical reality may not; not in a sense of compensation, but in balance. As this is within cosmic law. You are loved. The Details

Mars is currently in Scorpio. This for some, will be no day at the beach. For those who have done a certain level of personal work and/or are not afraid of their own shadow material, will have an advantage. Look to your own chart where Scorpio is active, especially those with personal planets in Scorpio. Mars is all about ENERGY. As in, when the energy of action is turned more inward it’s a great opportunity for personal changes and renovations of all kinds. For those with a primarily outer focus, this may feel uncomfortable and create a low grade tension that isn’t easy identified. Scorpio is related to occult matters, money and sexuality – all which can be “hot button” issues for people. In my experience Mars in Scorpio can also be a period of higher “troll” and generally negative activity in social media, so please be advised. This can be related to “offloading” or projection by others. As with all times, it is essential to know what is our “stuff” and what is not. In periods of high cosmic energies especially, boundaries can become blurred.

Pluto is still in Capricorn where it will be for some time. The “old guard” in all ways are being called out and questioned. One area where this is clearly evident is in the current US Political Process in a high stakes and high tension election year. Capricorn and Scorpio however work together well synergistically and are not in conflict, which does help. Pluto since it is akin to power, does feel comfortable in Saturn-ruled Capricorn who’s brighter side is conscientious leadership and the higher mind.

Saturn is currently Retrograde in Sagittarius. This is one placement that is definitely less comfy than Pluto and Capricorn. Sagittarius is about expansion and making things bigger; while Saturn is about reigning them in, so you see the possible conundrum here. However, Sagittarius also rules inspiration, foreign cultures and higher education. Feeling drawn to travel or go back to college? I would pay attention.

The Challenge and the Opportunity

It is from darkness that birth takes place; whether it be a child, a star or a new universe. This is the beauty and opportunity of Mars Retrograde in Scorpio: a deep metamorphosis and a new beginning. It is also emotional, deep and vulnerable. It is “getting real” at a level previously unknown to us before.

But say, my brothers, what can the child do that even the lion could not do? Why must the preying lion still become a child? Those are powerful words from Nietzsche and right on point. In a time of so much “No” personally and collectively, what is it going to take to get back to the “Yes?” It is also important to be open to the idea of closing or closed doors to our benefit, even if we can’t see the entire picture right now. That’s often in case in power portals such as this.

The Remedies

Retreats/breaks, self-love, compassion for self and others. The mantra “Do no harm, but take no sh*t” may very much still be in effect for some. Regarding getting unplugged and self-care: As they say about water, if you wait until you are thirsty you are probably already dehydrated. It is the same with social saturation. If you are ready to go offline forever and crawl into your hermit cave and never come out, you just might be past go.

Be careful of the “story” that is presenting. In other words, be advised to not put a period in the sentence where a comma actually is. In a year where so many have exited this plane, the Keepers have told me that those still present for the earth party are going to be suiting up and showing up in significant new ways. This retrograde period for many will reveal deeper levels about our Soul Missions and highlighting that which is no longer useful to that end.
