Week Beginning 10th June 2013: Preparing for Chiron to Turn Retrograde

Cleansing the Collective

The start of this week sees the heavens dominated by a T Square formed by the Moon, Venus and Mercury in Cancer, Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. It indicates the potential for powerful emotions, so we may want to go easy on ourselves and each other! Sensitivities can run high at times like this and the potential for being dragged off down an emotional rabbit hole is fairly strong! However, there is another side to it all. As we experience the on-going dissolution of all that separates one from another this month, we are likely to find that emotions are difficult to assign to anyone in particular. They just seem to be ‘out there’ in the atmosphere, floating around waiting for whoever wants to pluck them out and run with them! It’s difficult to find suitably nuanced words for this process, but essentially it is one of healing. So if we find ourselves overcome with emotion, sensitivity or some other sense impression that seems to come at us from nowhere, we can rest assured that it has arisen to be healed and the best way we can do that is by bringing a gentle and compassionate awareness to it, recognising that it’s not ‘my anger’, ‘my sadness’, ‘my doubt’, it’s just an energetic imprint of those emotions, added to throughout millennia by one person after another after another, as we live out our lives here on earth.

This type of fairly impersonal healing is a feature of this month. We’re being granted the opportunity to clear the collective energy field of stale emotion that’s clogging the space. However, because it’s human nature to make even impersonal things personal (!), we may be tempted to claim an emotion for ourselves and create an issue out of it instead. It’s vital to remember this week, that we can choose not to do so. In essence, we now have the chance to experience the pure energy of emotion without the need to attach a story to it and in that  way we can focus upon healing and rebalancing above all else.

As the week progresses we approach Chiron’s retrograde station in Pisces, occurring on 16th. This begins a five month period during which the difference between a healthy and unhealthy ego structure will become more apparent to us. If we have constructed a personal identity out of past sufferings or current challenges, we will be encouraged to let that identity gradually dissolve in favour of something altogether more life-affirming. We no longer have to ‘wear’ our wound. We can choose, if we wish, to bless it and let it go once and for all time. But this is a deeply personal choice and one which we must make only if and when the time is right for us: when doing so is not an act of denial or avoidance, but of the ultimate acknowledgement that who we are now is completely within our hands to shape and mould as we choose. This realisation itself can be an imposing and scary one, notwithstanding the inspiring potential that it holds for us. Which is why we now have five months to contemplate and then do it, not five minutes, and as this week comes to an end we can begin to do exactly that.

Wishing everyone a healing week.

Thank you again, dear Sarah for your heads up and your very encouraging words. Anger seems to be the one that lands in my arena, and I must say, usually unwelcome. Your message reminded me that it's not all mine, as I know how to transmute so guess the Universe tags me to do some work for the greater good. Have to chuckle when I start wondering what I'm here for--duh!!!!! At least your message turned my attention to what it's all about instead of getting lost in the feelings and making it all about me. So Chiron is about ego--guess I better gear up for the next part(haha). In LoveLight, Sandra :smitten:

Tumbling down emotional rabbit holes seems to be my area of expertise no matter what the forecast happens to be :)

Let's see, do I take the red pill or the blue pill to clear my energy field or do I "feel" my way through it?

I could tell you about the times I've taken the easy way out but.....that's another story.

Sarah, TY for another beautiful, loving, grace filled message. Ego, ego, ego. Yes, thank heavens I have five months & not five minutes. I'll probably need every last one of them. :2funny
Your message reminded me again of Don Miguel Ruiz's "Take Nothing Personally." This seems to be the agreement I have the hardest time with. Of course, none of them come easily, but this one is especially difficult for me. It seems it comes through my head daily when confronted with situations. I think I'll pick up his book again & reread it. It's been a while & I know I could use a refresher. LOL.
Shapeshifter & Sandra, TY as well for sharing your comments so openly that I can as well resonate with. We're given everything we need to do the task. It seems that's also hard for me to remember. LOL. Geesh. Someday surely I'll get better at remembering these things! :2funny
Much love to you all on our journeys!!! :smitten:

Thank you so much Sarah, your posts are so in tune and spot on. It.s Like being gently taken by the hand through the ever changing energy's.
I cried most of today (do have one good reason to) but still was lovely to read your post and to realise why my emotions where so all over the place, takes the edge off to know it not just me..
love and blessings

Betsy, what we usually remember are the things we want to forget LOL

betsy. 10th June 2013 8:18 pm

Ok, shapeshifter, woosh I was so confused! (I admit this is a common state for me). LOL. It doesn't seem that I would have to re-read a sentence so very short; but, I did...multiple times. LOL. Thank you because it gave me a very hearty laugh (both at the sentence & that I was having to re-read it so many times). Not only that, I went to google a quote that I was going to reply with (never found the quote) but did see that today's google theme looked like the children's book, "Where the Wild Things Are." That made my day! I used to love that book & so did my kids. So, thank you, shapeshifter, for all the laughs you gave me this evening. If I understand you correctly, yes, I remember the things I sometimes want to forget. LOL. Yep yep! :smitten:

Hello Sandra :)

Anger seems to be the one that lands in my arena

Isn't it interesting how we each seem to have a specific emotional experience that resonates with us and won't leave us alone?! Great that you can spot what it is though, and transmute it as you do. This is big work and so important for the entire collective. Thank you!

So Chiron is about ego

Well.. not essentially. Chiron is really about woundedness and healing (and corresponds to the wounded healer archetype), but the coming retrograde passage of Chiron raises issues around how we relate to wounds and whether or not we identify with them so strongly that they become a part of us that we can't let go...

Yep! Me too, Shapeshifter, and I'm writing the things lol. Still a way to go on that one but I'm working on it.. :)

Don Miguel Ruiz's "Take Nothing Personally."

I googled this as I've never heard of it. Thanks for mentioning it Betsy. The Four Agreements sounds like a wonderful book :)

Hello Star :) Ah yes, it seems to me this week that any emotions we're experiencing in our lives are being magnified many-fold. They're kind of acting like a magnet... which will make our emotions feel more powerful in many ways. Thank goodness there's a lot of healing energy around to support us at the same time! I hope you're doing okay Star xx

I realize I quoted incorrectly the Don Miguel Ruiz book & feel awful about it, so I want to get that straight since I love his work so much. It's the Second Agreement, "Don't Take Anything Personally" that I'm referring to. I believe in this one, although again I could be wrong because I am only now rereading the book & haven't gotten far LOL is when he reminds me that "it's not about me." Personally speaking, this has helped me reframe many situations in my life. Of course, I have problems remembering these agreements & must consciously remind myself of them daily & even then, putting them into practice is yet still the most difficult part; but, I do appreciate his work. His most recent book he has written with his son, Don Jose Ruiz, "The Fifth Agreement," which includes the previous four but also, obviously, a fifth. LOL. Anyway, I just wanted to clarify since he is someone I admire & have learned from. Much love to you all!!! :smitten:

We absolutely love that book too and we highly recommend it! :)

shapeshifter 11th June 2013 10:59 am

Betsy, It never occurred to me that my statement could be interpreted in more than one way. Just goes to show ya that we all see things differently. Yep, you did eventually get it the way I meant it and I'm glad that you got a laugh out of it as well.

shapeshifter 11th June 2013 11:03 am

Gee, Sarah, I'm really glad that I have good company in that rabbit hole :)

betsy. 11th June 2013 12:09 pm

shapeshifter, I don't know that it's that it could be interpreted in more than one way or that my brain just seems to not connect well sometimes. LOL. Surely there are spaces missing somewhere. LOL. Thanks for throwing in the "eventually." ROFL. :2funny Much love to you! :smitten:
