Nothing has impressed me more, or impacted me more, in the entire body of work known as the With God books than the Three Core Concepts of Holistic Living given to us: Awareness, Honesty andResponsibility
Our happiness is often created by what we make events mean. I positive person can turn even a difficult event into something to be thankful for and a negative person will put a negative spin even on good events.
For me, Consciousness perhaps could be best described as radical honesty, meaning saying things as they are in that moment, without the interference of the social mind, or the mind that it connected to the ego.
We began a discussion here about what I’ve called The Fractured Self. We looked at how we sometimes split ourselves into two or three different people, just to please the world, just to “get along,” and sometimes, to be truthful, just to get something that we want, and so, to please ourselves.
There is a difference between honesty and truth. Truth is fact and can't change, unless the circumstances, situation or object changes. Honesty comes from within us. Honesty is tied to the emotions of true self. Example, when we set a goal, there is a level of expectation we place on ourselves. Then we must be honest with ourselves to be sure if the goal is attainable.
My dear friends, we love you so very much. Celebrate dear ones! God is in charge. 2009 was a year of letting go of the beliefs, patterns, habits, situations, and circumstances that did not serve your soul's truth and this will continue on into 2010. This is wonderful news dear friends, because as you continue to release what does not serve the truth of you, you will allow room for what does.
