Today Jupiter begins its annual retrograde journey, this time through the sign of Cancer. The usual enthusiasm and outward thrust of Jupiterian energy turns inward at this point and we may find certain projects and plans slowing down in their development and progress.
Today Chiron in Pisces, Mars in Gemini and the North Node in Scorpio join forces until 25th. Chiron leads the way in this one, which is particularly significant as it has only just turned retrograde (see yesterday’s post for info about that).
Chiron is widely known to correspond with the notion of the Wounded Healer. In its archetypal energy we meet that part of us which seems forever in pain, and yet which simultaneously enables us to reach out to others in their suffering.
The start of this week sees the heavens dominated by a T Square formed by the Moon, Venus and Mercury in Cancer, Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn. It indicates the potential for powerful emotions, so we may want to go easy on ourselves and each other!
Well it’s that time again; Lent and Sun in Pisces. It’s generally not my favorite time of year. Looking at Pisces energy itself, it rules the astrological 12th house which is related to places of confinement, karma and the subconscious.
There can be no denying that the past few weeks and months have been hard going. Walking through treacle would be an understatement; brains like custard would perhaps be a little closer! The feeling of lethargy, exhaustion and struggle so many of us seem to be facing on so many different levels is undeniably strong. The biggest question perhaps is why. Why are we going through the mill at the moment?
